About our Superfruit Grape:

Up to 8,000 years ago, people first cultivated grapevines in what is now the Middle East. Today, 72 million tons of grapes are grown each year worldwide, mostly to produce wine. Every year, 7.2 trillion gallons of wine are produced. Grapes are also a popular finger food.
The nutrients in grapes offer several possible health benefits. They have been associated with the prevention of diseases and constipation.

Like other fruits and vegetables, grapes are a good source of fiber and water. Antioxidants and other nutrients in grapes may make them particularly healthful, although more research is needed to confirm some of their benefits.

Grapes are a type of fruit that grows on vines and are commonly found in clusters. Grapes have been cultivated for thousands of years and have cultural significance in winemaking.

The Middle East is considered the homeland of grapes, with the cultivation of the plant dating back thousands of years. The skins of grapes naturally contain yeast, which led to the discovery of alcoholic drinks like wine.

Grapes are native to North America and were initially considered unsuitable for winemaking by European colonists, but the Concord grape was later developed as an important agricultural crop in the United States.

Grapes are mostly water (81%) and carbohydrates (18%). They contain very little protein (1%) and almost no fat.

A 100-gram serving of raw grapes has: - 69 calories, - 14% of the Daily Value of vitamin K, - Small amounts of other micronutrients

In summary, grapes are a low-calorie food composed mainly of water and carbs. They provide a moderate amount of vitamin K but do not contain significant amounts of other vitamins and minerals.

The fruit comes in various colors, from black to green, red, and amber.  Botanically, the grape is a berry with juicy pulp and seeds, often with a whitish powdery coating.

You need to know the benefits of grapes:

Contain Antioxidants - Grapes, especially red and purple grapes, are rich in antioxidants like resveratrol, anthocyanins, and catechins.

Provide Vitamins and Minerals - Grapes contain several important vitamins and minerals like vitamin K, copper, vitamin B6, potassium, and magnesium.

Aid Hydration - Grapes are made up of about 80% water. Their high water content plus electrolytes like potassium can help hydrate the body quickly and effectively.

Preventing Diseases -Grapes contain powerful antioxidants known as polyphenols. These are thought to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. One of these is resveratrol. It is found in the skins of red grapes.

Eye health- Grapes contain antioxidants, which can help maintain eye health. They are thought to neutralize unstable molecules known as free radicals. In this way, they may reduce oxidative stress and damage to the retina, and help prevent cataracts and other conditions.

Blood pressure- Increasing potassium intake may help reduce the negative effects of too much sodium in the diet. Grapes have high potassium content.
